Preparation
1. Prepare the Fruit
  - Gently wash and dry the blueberries

2. Cold Process Method
  - In a large glass or ceramic bowl, combine crushed blueberries and sugar
  - Stir well to combine
  - Cover with a clean cloth
  - Let stand at room temperature for 24-48 hours, stirring occasionally
  - The sugar will draw out the juice from the berries, creating a syrup
3. Add Vinegar
  - After maceration, add the live vinegar
  - Add any chosen aromatics
  - Stir well to dissolve any remaining sugar
  - Cover and let stand at room temperature for 5-7 days in a dark place
4. Strain and Bottle
  - Line a fine-mesh strainer with cheesecloth
  - Strain the mixture into a clean bowl
  - Press gently on solids to extract all liquid
  - Pour into clean glass bottles
  - Label with date and contents
